Very proud to have organised with Bertrand Bacqué (with the help of Pablo Briones and Rodolphe Schacher) a “Music and cinema” workshop, with eighteen students from the HEAD and the HEM. Congratulations to them for their participation and involvement: the results by the end of this intense week were just amazing!
Misericorde, a feature film directed by the great Fulvio Bernasconi with a score by Nicolas Rabaeus, will premiere at the Zürich Film Festival on Saturday the 24th of September. Don’t miss it!

Nicolas just won the Andrei Petrov prize at the “Literature and Cinema festival” of Gatchina for his score of the movie “Puppet Syndrom”. Hurray!
Nicolas just finished two days of intense but fertile working with Rodrigo Peñalosa, signing the (crazy) score of his (crazy) movie celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Dada movement.
We went to visit the famous Ajay Sharma in New Delhi, at the Rikhi Ram shop. After hours of trying every possible instruments, we decided to buy a splendid tampura! Thanks to this great master for his warm reception and advices!

“Retour sur une illusion”, the new documentary directed by Claudio Recupero and Elena Hazanov will be screened at the the Visions du Réel festival in Nyon. Nicolas Rabaeus wrote the score for the movie. More infos here.

Yesterday we recorded the music for “Belle comme un coeur”, an animation short directed by Gregory Casares. We were directly connected with Skopje, Macedonia, where a 83 piece orchestra played Nicolas Rabaeus’ score (in the background on the laptop!). Can’t wait to mix all this!
“Volta à Terra”, a beautiful documentary directed by João Pedro Plácido with music by Nicolas Rabaeus, has won the best portuguese movie award at the Doclisboa festival! Congratulations!

Nicolas Rabaeus has started a collaboration with director/actor Frederic Recrosio, scoring the music for his new short : “Que la nuit soit douce”. It’s a very touching story about two children and their love for their grandfather.

Nicolas Rabaeus is composing for a Portuguese documentary, “Volta à Terra”. This amazing film tells the story of a village in the northern part of Portugal. The film was directed by João Pedro Placido, in collaboration with Laurence Ferreira Barbosa.
Nicolas Rabaeus started working on the new RTS webseries, “Brouillon de Culture”, directed by Malika Pellicioli and Arthur Touchais and produced by Close Up Films. It looks amazing!
